The highlight of the Yoxford village's events calendar, the annual end-of-summer
Oxfayre was established in 1992 by Andy Dunn and is now in the capable hands of Chairman
James Childs (with more than a little help from his friends). On Saturday, 5 September
2009 we celebrated the 18th Oxfayre - so we have now come of age! See our events

Yoxford Oxfayre is the charity of Yoxford Village. It raises money through various events throughout the year - the major of which being the annual Oxfayre. This popular occasion starts with a parade through the High Street, followed by the Fayre itself in and around the Village Hall.
Funds raised from our events are used to benefit a variety of activities in the Village. Recent donations have been given to the local cricket club; the Parish Council to supply a picnic bench in Mulberry Park; the village playgroup, and the Yoxford Primary school to help fund the Eastfeast project and refurbish their swimming pool.
Other occasions we arrange are the best free fireworks display in the area; free children’s events including a post-Christmas party; Easter egg hunt; dance nights; Christmas carol singing and lots more.
