Oxfayre Queen 2009
My name is Gabby Hemens.  I wanted to be the Oxfayre Queen as I believe it is an honour to be selected to represent youngsters from our village. I have really enjoyed and learnt different things whilst attending all the Committee Meetings to date. I like helping the local community out. My hobbies are horse riding, walking my dog Blaze, socialising with my friends and I am a shopaholic especially for clothes!!!

My dislikes are not being active and being bored with nothing to do, little chance of this though with my parents!!! And I hate people who bully others. I love Yoxford as it is a nice welcoming village with friendly people, along with good facilities e.g. village shop, post office, pubs and good footpaths for walking dogs. When I finish school I hope to work with children - either at a nursery school or teaching children or maybe eventually going into management role with children.
